(Newton, NC) – NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Elliott will make a special appearance at the upcoming Ross & Witmer 255 at Hickory Motor Speedway on Thursday, May 22. This event, presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch, is part of the ASA STARS National Tour and Southern Super Series.

Elliott is a former winner of events like the All American 400 and Winchester 400, and he has won the Snowball Derby twice.
The Ross & Witmer 255 is expected to draw a competitive field of drivers, with Elliott’s participation adding to the excitement. Other notable drivers include Cole Butcher, Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse, Derek Thorn, Johnny Sauter, Ty Fredrickson, Carson Brown, George Phillips, Gavan Boschele, Dawson Sutton, Chase Pinsonneault, Derek Kraus, Austin Nason, and Kyle Steckly.
Former NASCAR Cup Series Champion Kevin Harvick will also be present, serving as the Grand Marshal for the event. During his Cup Series career, he achieved 60 career victories, placing him among the top 10 all-time winners in NASCAR’s premier division. Harvick also secured two NASCAR Xfinity Series championships and accumulated over 100 wins across NASCAR’s top three national touring series. Known as one of the sport’s most respected and media-savvy veterans, his presence at Hickory reinforces his deep-rooted connection to grassroots motorsports.
