The NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series made a stop at Kansas Speedway on Saturday night for the Kansas Lottery 300. Carson Kvapil secured the pole position, with William Byron starting in second place.

During the second lap, Carson Kvapil collided with William Byron at the exit of Turn 2, subsequently making contact with Parker Retzlaff. This resulted in Kvapil's car flipping multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.

Safety crews promptly arrived to upright Kvapil's vehicle, and he exited the car independently. This incident was one of seven cautions spanning 37 laps. Kvapil was among nine drivers who did not complete the race. Anthony Alfredo and Austin Hill exited due to crashes, while Dawson Cram retired because of engine failure.

Corey Day initially led the first 23 laps before Brandon Jones took over. Jones led a race-high of 67 laps, including victories in both stages. On lap 99, Sheldon Creed overtook Jones, leading a total of 48 laps.

In the latter stages of the race, Taylor Gray overtook Ryan Sieg for the lead, maintaining it for the final 48 laps to claim his first victory of the season by 0.718 seconds over Sheldon Creed. This marked Gray’s second career win in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The race featured 11 lead changes.

Justin Allgaier, Jesse Love, and Brent Crews finished in the top five, while William Byron, Cole Custer, Brandon Jones, Sam Mayer, and Ryan Sieg completed the top ten.
