The nation’s premier dirt late model drivers are set to invade Ocala Speedway for a massive week of racing as the highly anticipated Wieland Winter Nationals continue, taking place from February 23rd through 28th. This event draws not only local talent but also the best drivers from across the country, all eager to showcase their skills on one of Florida's most beloved racing venues.

Teams will tackle the challenging 3/8-mile oval beginning Monday, February 23rd, for an Open Practice session. This initial practice day provides drivers with the opportunity to fine-tune their setups and familiarize themselves with the track conditions, which can vary significantly. It is a crucial time for teams to assess their performance and make any necessary adjustments before the competitive racing begins.

As the week progresses, each race night will feature a complete Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program presented by FloRacing, ensuring that fans will experience a full slate of thrilling events. The schedule includes Allstar Performance Time Trials, where drivers will push their machines to the limit in a bid for the best starting positions. Following this, the action heats up with Heat Races, where drivers compete fiercely to secure their spots in the main event. B-Mains will also be held to provide additional opportunities for drivers to qualify for the coveted A-Main race, which promises to deliver edge-of-your-seat excitement and intense competition as the best of the best battle it out for victory.

Pit gates are scheduled to open at 2:00 PM each day, allowing teams ample time to prepare their cars and strategize for the evening's events. Grandstand gates will open at 5:00 PM, giving fans the chance to settle in and soak up the vibrant atmosphere that accompanies dirt track racing. On-track action will kick off with Dirt Draft Hot Laps at 6:00 PM, where drivers will take to the track to warm up and further refine their racing lines before the official competition begins.
