Denny Hamlin seemed to have the setup for Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Martinsville Speedway.
Hamlin jumped out to an early lead on lap 126 and dominated the race, picking up his first Cup win of the year.
STAGE 1
Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott started at the front as the race began.
Bell initially took the lead but then began to fall back in the early part of Stage 1.
Josh Berry made significant progress, capturing the lead after climbing from his 14th starting position.
With 10 laps remaining, the yellow flag was waved when Chris Butcher spun on the front stretch.
The field made pit stops with only 10 laps left, and Joey Logano emerged first from pit road, leading the field back to green with less than 10 laps remaining in the segment, ultimately winning the stage.
Stage 2
Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace brought the field back to green, with Hamlin quickly taking an early lead. He maintained this position, leading every lap of stage two and securing the stage win.
Final Stage
In the final segment, Denny Hamlin took an early lead and went on to secure his first NASCAR Cup Series victory of the year at Martinsville.
