Connor Hall clinched the 2025 Virginia Triple Crown championship following his 11th-place finish in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300.
Hall began the Triple Crown series with a victory at the South Boston 200, followed by a second-place finish in the Hampton Heat. His 11th-place performance at Martinsville resulted in an average finish of 4.66, securing him the championship.
"I'm thrilled about winning the Triple Crown," Hall expressed. "I recall my first Triple Crown race when I was around 18. It's been nearly a decade of effort. This marks my third attempt at all the Triple Crown events. Achieving this after coming up short last year is really cool. I'm super excited about it.
"I'm happy for my JR Motorsports team. I'm glad to bring home a Triple Crown for Dale, Kelly, and JR Motorsports. Growing up, I didn't have the chance to compete on such a significant platform. Being here now and winning the Virginia Triple Crown is a huge accomplishment."
Hall considers this his second-best career achievement, as he would rank it first if he had won the race.
"It would be number one if it came with a grandfather clock," Hall remarked. "It's probably second to a national title. As a Virginia native, I grew up watching legends like Philip Morris and Lee Pulliam compete for this Triple Crown each year, hoping for my chance. Ten years later, I never imagined achieving it with JR Motorsports.
"Lee [Pulliam] mentioned something similar today. It's easy to become complacent and forget to appreciate the moment. As a racer, you're always chasing the next big thing, always wanting more. If I could go back and tell my 18-year-old self that he would win a Triple Crown with Dale Jr. as his car owner, he would have signed up right away."
Hall also made an intriguing comment about his future with JR Motorsports.
