“We created a new chapter in the rich history of motorsports at Bowman Gray Stadium with the Cook Out Clash this year,” stated Joey Dennewitz, NASCAR Regional’s managing director. “As NASCAR’s original weekly race track, we are excited to bring the 2026 Cook Out Clash back to the birthplace of grassroots racing. We extend our gratitude to the City of Winston-Salem and Winston-Salem State University for their ongoing partnership at ‘The Madhouse.’”

The 2025 Cook Out Clash was the first NASCAR Cup Series race at Bowman Gray Stadium since 1971. Chase Elliot emerged victorious in the main event, leading 171 of the 200 laps.
